Like many people during covid I went on a lot of walks. Whilst walking I was thinking about projects I could work on and I kept playing with the idea of writing a children’s book and illustrating it with photographs. I had a rough plan of the story I wanted to write so I started to experiment with some Photoshop techniques to make images look more like rendered drawings. The results led me on to produce this short story based on me as a 4 year old.

As a child there were many times when I was convinced that a lion had crept in to the shadows of my room and I remember once that the more I stared, the more it looked as if the shadow was coming towards me……..
